I met Kelly pipelining, where we worked on the prep crew together. His machine carried my machine; we would walk down the right-of-way, stopping to carve the j-bevel on each end of every tube. Although he seemed perpetually cranky, he was a peach of a guy. Haven't seen you in years, but I will miss you, my friend! I will also miss our random semi-annual telephone conversations when we would talk about everything and nothing. I offer my sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. This is the only picture of him that I have. It was taken in Strathcona County on September 6, 2014. Rest in peace, Kelly.
