We were introduced to Yvan and Darleen only few years ago, and I can honestly say that I liked
Yvan from the very first time we met him... Yvan was many things.... He was very bright and "exceedingly calm" and
kind. Yvan would literally give someone the clothes on his back just to help you.. I looked forward to each and
every time that I had spent with him. He was one in a million...We will miss him so, so much.
To Darleen, Josh and family.... Our most sincere condolences....We pray that our Father will strip away all the terrible grief and anguish you now have, and leave you with only the many fond memories of Yvan ...

Darlene ,Josh and family my deepest condolences. I have been blessed to have been a friend of the family and friends with Yvan since early elementary school
We grew up together and started working together when he first broke out welding
We worked together for a few years out in Jedney when there were no roads lol
It was nice to see him master the welding but that was not all the man was good at
He was good at everything carpentry, autobody,mechanics, electronics and was always there to help
Our families spent a lot of time together
I had the honor of spending time with him finishing his house this summer and on his journey
He was a great husband, father,and a true friend who saved my life on feb 11
I will be forever thankful
He will be forever missed
He was a true friend.

I first met Yvan when we attended Alwin Holland Elementary. I remember him being the nicest and kindest kid ever. That never changed through all the years. I had not seen him for many years but one day, suddenly, there he was! I was so blessed to see him and share a laugh. Such a great loss. My sincere condolences to Darlene and family.

Condolences to Darlene and the rest of Yvans family. We grew up together, and I have plenty of childhood memories that still make me smile, he was a great friend. We rode our bikes all over the country, Fish Creek, Charlie Lake, the Old Fort, we caught frogs, built rafts, forts & go carts, played kick the can, and of course the street hockey games were legendary with Rogie Vachon playing for Team Arnaly. Rest easy my friend….

Our deepest of condolences to Darlene, Josh, extended family on the loss of Yvan. He was our youngest brother. As a young boy we recall Yvan's enthusiasm, playfulness and joie de vie he exhibited as his hallmark mode of operations which stayed with him throughout his life. This continued on as the years progressed infused into his work standards. Yvan performed all his duties to the best of his abilities and to the highest standards. This was done with confidence, charisma, humanity, intelligence and his natural leadership abilities which explained his talent in managing several projects from their inception to their end, with the greatest of success. This all culminated in the work he performed, while battling cancer over the last few years, to upgrade his family home to gift his endless love for his family.
