I met Shirley Ann back in the 80s when i worked at Forestry, then was reacquainted when i went to work for ICBC in the government building a number of years later. We lost touch after she retired but when i thought about her it was always about the great memories that we shared. She will be greatly missed.

I met Shirley Ann while working at the Government Building. She was so much fun. We had so many laughs at one another. She even lived at my house in FSJ for awhile. I loved her like a sister. If I could say something to her nowI would tell her that she had no business leaving this world before me. She was 10 years younger than I. I will miss those great laughs. She will definitely stir things up in Heaven. Rest in peace, dear, dear friend. I will miss you greatly.

Grant and Lee, I am so sorry for your loss. Your Mom/wife was so very special. A memory both Brenda and I have was when we were children visiting from Manitoba Shirley Ann would look after us on occasion (pretty certain she did not have a choice) but our recollection was she was so much fun! Im glad I had the opportunity to reconnect with her last year.

She was a friendly switch board operator, a hard working mail clerk delivering to the various ministries i worked for and a fun coworker at the counter at the government agents office. Im saddened to hear of Shirley Anns passing. She was such a long time client that I considered her a friend. I always looked forward to our visits. We ran into each other at garage sales and Shirley Ann was quite happy that Lee took her and Buddy out for these events. Shirley Ann was very calm when she faced her illness and prognosis. I am so very shocked and saddened to learn of Shirley Ann's untimely passing! I first met and got to know Shirley Ann when we both worked at the Government Agent's office during the 1980s. I remember fondly her smile and her laugh. Shirley Ann was one who was always genuinely concerned with how a person was doing and when she asked, it was because she cared!
