Obituary of James Parker

Obituary James Robert Parker of Fort St. John passed away at the Fort St. John Hospital on February 01, 2011 at 52 years of age. James was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan on August 15, 1958 to parents James and Beatrice Parker. He attended school at Clearview Elementary continuing on to North Peace Senior Secondary School. On August 8, 1981 in the small town or Fort St. John, James married his true love Sandra Fay Robbins. He worked as a dispatcher for Weatherford and was a loyal employee for 30 years. James was a man of many interests and had a passion for many things. He was a member of many clubs such as the Rod and Gun Club, the Curling Club and a honourary and very proud member of the Archery Club. James is predeceased by his father James Parker. He is survived by his beloved wife Sandra Parker, his cherished daughters Nicole Bell (Jarrod), Tleea Parker (Ken Beazley), and Dezarai Carter (Tyson), his grandchildren Mackenzie Parker-Beazley and Brooke Beazley, his mother Beatrice Parker, his brother Douglas Parker (Gail), his sisters Marlyse Essex (Tony), and Cheryl Likes (Ralph) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, extended family and friends. Memmorial services will be held Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 2:00pm from the Charlie Lake Community Church. Interment will follow in the spring at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Fort St. John. If so desired expressions of sympathy can be made in memory of James to the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation Cancer Treatment Unit. The parker family would like to thank Dr. Moody and the nursing staff at the Fort St. John Hospital, as well as a very special thanks to the Chemo Nurses and all their family and friends for all their love and support through this difficult time. Your thoughtfulness is truly appreciated and will never be forgotten.
