What can I say about my Uncle Jimmy...he was one of a kind, a caring and generous man. He loved his family, immediate and extended...losing Uncle Jimmy is as hard as when we lost Grandpa, both were huge parts of our family. When I was down for Dez and Tyson's wedding we stayed in the back yard in our trailer. I was unsure about what I was doing or where I was going when I was to go back to Calgary and he told me no matter what he would be there for me, if I needed help or could always move back to FSJ. When I'm there with everyone sometimes I just want to stay with the family and have it like it was when we were kids always hanging out or being at each others homes for holidays. I know my life got busy and I missed a lot of things that the family did...wish I hadn't but all I can do now is try to be there more. I will miss you Uncle Jimmy but it comforts me to know you are with Grandpa now...having a drink I'm sure watching over us all.

As hard as the last year and a half have been for all of us, we're so glad that dad was able to share in so many amazing moments too. They were able to travel across Canada on their motorcycles, he was able to join us for two weddings and for the birth of his first grand baby. I wouldn't give up a single tear if it meant missing out on any of the laughter, and we all know dad did love to laugh.
