Obituary of Wayne Goeson

Obituary Wayne Glen Goeson, 50, of Fort St. John BC, died November 1, 2011 peacefully in his sleep at home. Wayne was born August 20, 1961 in Pender Harbour, BC to Jack and Dorothy Goeson. Wayne enjoyed spending time playing hockey with his boys and taking fishing vacations on Vancouver Island. He was a huge sports fan and seldom missed a hockey or football game, always eager to support his favourite teams the Canucks and the BC Lions. Wayne was loved and valued by many and was very dedicated to his family and career at Spectra Energy. He was a man with a very generous heart, always wanting to help, especially anyone in his family. He will be missed by many but especially his wife, daughter, sons and grandson. Wayne is survived by his loving wife Marian, his children Tanara (Tanner) and their son Lucas, Josh and Ryan, his brothers and sisters Larry, Jack (Gisele), Diane (Marvin), Linda (Doug), Judy (Ron), Boyd (Nadine), and Wade (Britta) along with many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, all of whom he dearly loved. He is predeceased by his mother Dorothy and his father Jack. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made to the North Peace Savings and Credit Union in trust for sons Josh and Ryan. Anyone attending the funeral service is asked to wear the BC Lions or Vancouver Canuck Jersey.
