When ever the family would get together Wayne and I would gravitate to each other and we would always have a great time whether it was fishing together or watching football. I will miss his comments when his Lions would beat my Riders. And I will miss his big heart.

Wayne Goeson was a person who did not mince his words. He was high energy and comical in spite of living a life of pain for the last ten years. He told the truth in a very humorous way and it got his point across quickly. He loved his whole family and would do anything for them as well as he was a father to the fatherless and he made sure that his own were looked after. I shall miss him very much, he was my brother and my friend and we had many discussions on en d times and what heaven was like. Well, now he knows more than his big "sis" as he is experiencing the wonders of God. I long for the day when I will again sit with my wise brother and rejoice in Jesus.

I worked with Wayne for an all-too-short year. He led from the front by example and had high standards and expectations to meet. He was old school, and for that I respect him immensely. Wayne has left behind some very big shoes to fill at Highway. His word was considered to be infallible about how the plant ran. Wayne was also a very generous man, giving back to his community and local sports. My kids adored him every time they went to visit the plant. We are very sorry for your loss, Marian. Wayne was one of a kind.

I worked with Wayne for over 6 years.. He loved his sports, no better team than the Canucks or the Lions. He loved his family and was always actively involved with them and their sports. He had a gruff exterior but had a warm heart, was always there to help or offer advise to his fellow workers. He will be deeply missed, R I P my friend, I will think of you every time I watch a Canucks game.
