Obituary Brian Was Born in Cardiff Wales in 1938, the second eldest in his family where he had one brother Gerry and two sisters, Sandra and Susan. While he was serving his country he travelled with the army to places like Hong Kong and Cyprus. Brian was very proud of his accomplishment and spoke of it often. While in service a friend of his, Teddy, suggested that Brian should write to his sister-in- law Francis (Fran) O'Brian who also lived in Wales. Brian and Fran wrote to each throughout his time in the service and fell in love through those letters, and when Brian was discharged in 1965 he and Fran were married. Fran was diagnosed with a terminal illness and after 20 years as a guard he retired to stay home and take care of her, until her passing in 2007. Brian was an amazing man he was kind, funny and a very good father. He loved his family very much and did everything in his power to make sure they were never went without a thing. He was also a pretty good cook and his fish and chips and shepherd's pie will be missed by many. Brian showed his sons how to be a good husband and father through his words and actions, and showed his daughter what a good husband should be.
