Very sorry to hear about the passing of Brian. I worked with him for many years at the Fort St. John detachment . We had many laughs on night shift, he had a great sense of humour Laughed at my bad jokes just out of sheer kindness. You welcomed me into the community back in the 90s. In no time I felt like family, you were an intrigal part to that. You consistently performed your duties with compasion and professionalism., you were an example for all of us at that time. Thank you my friendRest in peace my friendBrad Anderson

Brian was a dedicated and conscientious city employee as a guard at the RCMP detachment. HIs humour was infectious and he was not above participating in practical jokes. He willingly volunteered when asked and always had a story for us at our Remembrance Day parades...due to the time of year and the blustery Ft. St. John winters the hot toddy he would place in the hand was always appreciated. There are examples that I will not expound on other than say there were several times due to his actions and attention to detail he was able to assist and even save the life of prisoners under his care. It was a sad day when I heard of his passing. God bless you Brian as you re-connect with Fran.A candle was lit

My deepest condolences on your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Brian at the Fort St. John airport. He could light up the room with his laughter and many times he did just that with his stories. He will be missed.

Please accept my condolences on the passing of your father. It was an honor to have known such a great person and I will truly miss him. It was always so nice to see Brian's smiling face every time I walked into the guard room, no matter what time of day or night it was. May you and Fran be reunited together. Rest in peace Brian.
