Obituary of Clay Mazur

Obituary With profound sadness, we announce the sudden and peaceful passing of Clay Mazur on January 24, 2021, in BC at the Fort St. John hospital, at the age of 67, with his daughters Donielle and Jennifer by his side. Clay was born and raised in Cranbrook, BC. He started working at a young age at his dad’s sawmill in Elko, BC. His next adventures took him to own his businesses, Kelly’s Stereo and Wot’s Nightclub. Eventually, he moved on from his business and went back into the logging industry, where he took pride in being a skidder operator and then moved his family to Chetwynd, BC, where he drove a logging truck. Clay was an avid outdoorsman who spent his days with his dog Skylar going fishing, hunting and riding his ATV. In his downtime, he could often found enjoying a beer with friends and listening to music. The love of his life was his wife Cheryl Burlingham, who predeceased him, which left him heartbroken. Clayton will be sadly missed by his three daughters Liza (Trent and granddaughter Ella), Jennifer (Char), and Donielle, his sister Donna (Jim), brother Henry (Caroline) and his spoiled dog Skylar aka Bubba! There is a new bright start watching over us!! As per Clay’s wishes, there will be no funeral. Services
