I have many great memories of clay I have been a close friend of the family since I was was just little I remember going fishing to fort steel with clay and his dad I also got to spend some time with him in chetwynd he was always helpful in anyway possible he thought me many things like when helping me change my motor with his dad be patient and go slow it's pretty said to have found out he has passed away because the last time I seen him I said I'll be back to see you again and now I can't do that anymore my condolences to donell jennifer and Lisa and family my thoughts are with you I had some phone calls with clay and even in person he always would tell me he'd give ever cent in his account to have cheryl back I'm going to miss you I hope you are in a happy place

Clay was a great guy to work with many years ago in the East Kootenay. Over the years I had the pleasure of an occasional beer with him. He was a good man. My condolences to his family and friends.
