Obituary of Jordan Peters

Obituary We are shocked and saddened to announce the passing of Jordan Peters, son, brother, cousin, nephew and friend to absolutely everyone that he met. Jordan was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on August 15, 1980, and passed away here in Fort St. John, B.C. on March 5, 2021, at the age of 40. He was the second son and middle child of Dennis Peters and Shirley (now Lewis). Jordan will be missed by his Mom Shirley and Step Dad Ivan, his brother Matthew, (Melanie Plowright), and his sister Heidi (Bernie Bueckert) and their children Isaiah, Hallie and Owen. Jordan was predeceased by his father, Dennis Peters. He was loved by countless uncles, aunts and cousins, and many friends who he considered family. Jordan lived a full and adventurous life, tackling any job opportunity that came his way with confidence and energy, regardless of experience. Though life brought many challenges, Jordan had confidence in the truth of scripture. "For by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8,9. Jordan will be remembered fondly for his huge heart and charismatic personality. There was rarely a person that he didn’t love with his whole heart. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Please join us for a celebration of life Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 2:00 pm.
