I had the honor to spend the last few hours with my dad before he passed. Although we had our ups and downs like every other family, I loved him with all my heart. Dad was always my light and protector. Being the only girl of 4 boys he put me on a high pedestal. I will dearly miss him and now he can rest easy. Always in my heart dad, and I hope you and mom are causing all kinds of shinanigans up above. Never goodbye daddy:) I will see you and mom later. Love you always

I am so sad to hear of Uncle Claude's passing. I remember visiting at the Larson's; hours of fun and no matter if you were a girl, he'd rough house us like every other kid. Claude was a man that honoured a hand shake and always did what he said. His sense of humour always kept you on your toes and he always, always said it like it was. He was not only a very hard worker but a man of substance. He accomplished so much and I am very proud to have had him in my life. I spoke to him recently on the tele a few times and I was tickled pink just to hear his voice. My deepest sympathies to the family. Uncle Claude you were one of a kind and the Pearly Gates have received such an honourable man as you were. RIP Uncle Claude; until we meet again.

I will miss Claude so very much. He always treated me like one of his own. I will miss the times that we spent with Claude and Irene. Had so much fun with them, they were always ready for an adventure. We sure had some good times when they would come to Texas to visit. I love you Claude and will miss you so much. I am sure that you and Irene are together again. That very thought is so comforting to me. See you on the other side

Hello Dad:Well It's time to say goodbye or better yet will see each other later when my time has come.Dad there is so much i can say about you as a husband and father. I can honestly say you did your very best to be a loving and supporting husband to our dear loving mother. You would go to great lengths to please mom and always put your kids first. It was tough love growing up with you but that just made us stronger or at least some of us. We sure had some fun times on the acreage and the times we went camping and fishing. I'll never forget you were the one who got me involved in sled dogs and was there to take me and my dogs to the local races. Dad there was no challenge to big or to small you would not tackle. You faught to the bitter end but now your at peace and resting with mom or you and mom are dancing with the angels high above. I'm not going to say goodbye but say see you later.I love you Dad and always will.

Dear Uncle Claude- now you and Auntie Irene are together again-dancing with Angels and I am sure there are magical miniature horses frolicking with you both in Heaven. To my dear cousins-this has been a sad time for you all, losing BOTH your Mom and Dad on Earth but they live on for Eternity and you WILL be together again. That is the comfort of God's promise to us all. Cherish those memories and LOVE each other. I know Uncle loved his children so much and the greatest gift to him is to bring you all together to continue his Legacy of Family First as you all remember. His sister, my Mom Betty m my husband Gary and I offer many prayers to you all. Love Lorraine Friedel

Im saddened to learn of Claudes passing and wish to share heartfelt condolences with Tom, Terry, Tim, Tracy, Brenda and your Families. It was so nice to learn of your Dads younger years as I didnt meet the family until 1968. Claude and Irene worked hard to raise their family and maintain their acreage. I consider myself blessed to be one of their many friends in community, they always had time for a visit, wherever you met up. They will now be together again! RIP Claude, you were a good man!

I am so very sorry to learn of Claude's passing. When Irene passed, it was hard for me to imagine him without her. Now they are together again. To his children - It was a privilege to know your dad - I loved our chats when we would meet and always wanted to visit longer and hear more stories from the old days. Our sincere sympathies to all of you and the rest of his family. In fond remembrance - Fred and Rosolynn
