We are so blessed to have Bill and Sharon as some of our Special FriendsOur friendship goes back 45 years+. When they told us they were moving to Ft. Nelson we were so happy to have them closer to us... over the last couple years we spent quite a bit of time together Quading, visiting, taking about the word, sharing meals, stories, singing with lots of laughs and fun! Bill always had a kind word and laugh no matter the circumstance and he loved the Lord Jesus with all his heart. When Bill and Dan were together oh how they loved to tease us girls one pushing the other on.. laughing all the time. Our hearts are very saddened to loose our dear friend but we know that we will meet again! Keeping Sharon in our Prayers.

It was hard to grasp that Bill had passed. Hard to grasp that we could no longer just pick up the phone and have a chat. Don and Bill would call each other fairly often and chat for hours. He and Don would talk about the Word of God, and about every day living. Last winter they talked about chickens and in spring Don ordered 300 meat chicks. (the plan was that Bill and Sharon were going to come help butcher in the fall) When I told Bill that it was his fault because he encouraged Don to do it, he just laughed his laugh and thought it was great. We will miss his phone calls and his laugh. Till we meet again Bill.

I Will always remember Uncle Bill's laugh, he had a way of making everyone around him laugh. When he and Auntie Sharon came to my brothers wedding, we had some friends from Mexico staying with us, most of them couldn't speak English, but he had them all in stiches with his stories. When he and Dad got to talking chickens and Dad ended up buying 300 this spring I ended up caring for them for the majority of the summer, I told Uncle Bill that it was all his doings and he thought that was great! From then on, he teased me that I was going to marry a chicken farmer :DThe video of him singing a song he wrote was taken when He and Auntie Sharon were visiting for my brother wedding, I only got part of the song and now wish I would have asked him to sing it again.Till we meet again Uncle Bill!

Bill moved to Fort Nelson with the same flame I had for the outdoors when I moved here. He made me smile. He wouldnt take no for an answer when he got his lynx and wanted it mounted. It was my first full mount and I was apprehensive about doing it at all. He really, really wanted me to do it, and encouraged me through the process and he was happy with the outcome even though it looks a little rabid to me. He would come visit whenever he was going by and was always bright an cheery with the latest joke he had heard or one he made up or one hed no doubt told for the thousandth time.Bill was concerned about everyones wellbeing and happiness. He so wanted to see his most interesting friends marry and had our entire Situationshipfigured out, signed sealed and blessed before God. He loved that word Situationship. When he could see me getting antsy with the subject, hed settle it down and have a good laugh about it. Bill had an energy that was hard to beat. I really paid attention when he was down because it was not in his nature. When Jake went missing, it was all I could do to try and find him for him. When Cora and I saw the cow moose after a few hours, I thought for sure that moose had been Jakes demise. I just told Bill I couldnt find his dog and left it at that. That dog must have known there was no way Bill would stop looking for him and sure enough they were eventually brought back together. That there was a miracle. Bill and Sharon only lived here in Fort Nelson what seems to me to be only a short time. I love them both and will miss Bill a lot.

Many great memories of Bro Bill. He was one of the sweetest men on this earth. I will never forget his laugh and giggle. He was always so nice to be around and Ill never forget the many wonderful memories I have of him as a kid and teenager. He was a real Christian man and always stood strong for his faith. I would always enjoy when he would sing in church and the love he had for God was expressed in his words and voice. Ill never forget you Bill and look forward to the day we will be reunited again. Say hi to my Dad for me. Sending much love and prayers to his entire family at this very sad time.

From the family of "big sister" Sarah: our hearts are joined with you in grief for we loved him also. He was bigger then life, so much so that he had two names! Some called him Bill, some called him Murray but either way, if you needed him he would answer the call. When he was still a teenager he took an afternoon and taught Donnie how to make a fishing pole then showed him where the little brown brook trout hid. He said "people will think you are fishing, but it's a great time to pray and see the Hand of the Lord all around you in the sky, woods and sometimes a fish or two". Funny thing is Murray never seemed to be aware of how much impact he had on people's lives. (from Donnie - that afternoon fishing with my big uncle is one of my favourite childhood memories) He had a heart that beat with the Love of the Lord and it showed in every aspect of his life. Brother/Uncle Murray, you are loved, missed and mourned. We keep you sealed in our hearts and look forward to the day of rejoicing when we meet on that beautiful shore and all see Jesus together. Sharon our prayers are with you above all. May the Lord be with you, comfort you and give you strength.

Im soo glad we got to stop in Ft Nelson the last few times we drove through, and see uncle Bill & aunt Sharon. I love that within minutes of meeting my kids, he assigned them all goofy nicknames like Lasagna for Natanya, had them all giggling and laughing. My special uncle whom almost shared my birthday, or Vice verse as we sometimes joked. Uncle Bill well miss you soo much but I know youre playing your guitar & singing in glory for all the saints there, as only you can! Until we meet again!

Sister Sharon and family,We were very deeply saddened to hear of Bro. Bill's passing. Bill was unique in so many ways and we have great memories of times spent with him singing and laughing, which was usually the case each time we got together with your family. He will be missed for sure. We know there is little that can be said to take away the pain and sense of loss you bear today. Just know that we have been thinking much about you and are praying for you. We hold to the great hope that we will one day reunite with Bill and all the dear saints who have gone on before us. Until that day, may God give you much peace in your hearts and grant the strength you need from day to day! With Christian love and special thoughts,Marilyn and Patsy
