I was saddened today when I first found out of Curtis' passing. I worked with Curtis in Australia. We had a wonderful friendship as Curtis, when he got tired of work-camp food, would often ask me; "Tommy you cooking tonight? I'll grab the steaks" then we would spend the night on the deck, getting full on good food, wine and whiskey. Curtis would then spend endless hours talking of his wonderful and incredible stories of his life and loves of Fort St Johns. Thanks old mate for making it a memorable period in my life.
