Obituary of Roger Allan MacQuarrie
It is with great sadness that we announce Roger MacQuarrie passed away peacefully surrounded
by his loved ones on November 5, 2024, in Fort St John, BC.
Roger was known for his hard work, his caring nature, a deep love for the
outdoors and for always lending a helping hand.
He cherished time with family and friends, especially time with his son and grandson,
who were the lights of his life.
Roger was a long time resident of Fort St John, BC
and formerly of Oyster Bed Bridge, PEI.
Roger was predeceased by parents Sterling and Marjorie (nee Neill) MacQuarrie.
He is survived by Brothers Calvin(Arlene) Kier (Katrina),
son Devon (Jackie and sons), cherished grandson Phoenix,
Fay MacQuarrie and brother in law Elgin Hunt(Ronda)and
sister in law Phyllis Pike(Gordon) and many nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate Roger's life will be held on Wednesday,
November 13, at 2 pm at the Legion in Fort St John.
All who knew and loved Roger are welcome to attend and share in remembering his remarkable life.
Roger's kindness and devotion left a lasting impact on everyone he met, and he will be profoundly missed.
