Obituary of James Bradly Stewart

James Bradly Stewart, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on August 23, 2024, in Fort St John, British Columbia. He was born on August 15, 1963, in the same town, and his loss has left a void in the hearts of many.

James was a man of many passions and talents. He found joy in tinkering around in his shop and on his property, where he poured his heart and soul into creating and fixing things. His love for running equipment was evident in the way he approached his work with dedication and skill. His booming laugh and large frame filled the room, his presence was always felt when he walked into a room. James had a way of making everyone feel welcome and at ease.

One of James's greatest joys in life was spending time with his family. He cherished every moment with his wife, Joan, and their two sons, Bradly and Darcy. His love for his grandchildren, Aiden, Rhone, Aurora, Kaydren, Serin, Arizona, and Adrianna, knew no bounds, and he took great pride in watching them grow and thrive. James's love for his family was unwavering, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will continue to inspire those who knew him.

In addition to his immediate family, James is survived by his brother, Chuck, and his mother, Alva, who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

James loved nothing more than visiting with friends and anyone who would lend an ear. His love for music and his ability to find joy in the simple things made him a cherished presence in the lives of those around him.

To honor and celebrate the life of James, a gathering will be held at the Charlie Lake Hall at 2pm on Friday, August 30th. This will be a time to share stories, reminisce, and find solace in each other's company. Finger food, treats, and coffee will be served, and all are invited to stay and raise a toast to the man who touched so many lives.

James Bradly Stewart will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. May his spirit continue to guide and inspire us as we carry his memory forward.
