Gary Shelton

1936 - 2024

Gary K. Shelton, a beloved husband, father, brother, and uncle, passed away on July 18, 2024, in Hudson's Hope, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Born on July 9, 1936, in Denver, Colorado, Gary touched the lives of all who knew him and will be deeply missed.

Gary and Sharon Krauchi created a life filled with joy and adventure, making their home in Farrell Creek, surrounded by their cherished Australian Shepherds and feline companions.

Gary is survived by his loving daughter, Lisa Dennis and son-in-law Gavin, and his grandchildren Frankie, Charlie, and Christian. His daughter, Vicki, may have left this world before him, but her memory lived on in his heart.

In addition to his immediate family, Gary is survived by his brother, Chris Shelton, and nephew, Ian. His kindness and wisdom were a source of guidance and inspiration, and his absence will be deeply felt by those he leaves behind.

Gary's love for life, flying, and farm auctions and his unwavering spirit will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing him. His passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his memory will continue to bring comfort and solace to those who mourn his loss.

A graveside service to honor Gary's life will be held at 1 PM on July 29th at the Garden of Peace Cemetery in Hudson's Hope. Following the service, friends and family are invited to gather at the Hudson's Hope Community Hall for tea and fellowship, where stories of Gary's life and the impact he had on those around him will be shared and cherished.

His legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched, and his spirit will continue to guide and inspire us in the days to come. Rest in peace, Gary K. Shelton. You will be deeply missed.
