He was born in Selkirk, Manitoba July 7, 1945. His parents, Mel and Edith relocated to Fort St. John to raise their family of 6 children.

Bob started working at the tender age of 11 driving water truck for his dad, Mel. He had a passion and pride for working hard. This showed in the many jobs he had before deciding to start his own business. Bob, worked alongside his brother Jerry and as a partner with cousin Jim Treliving. Bob built a successful business and had a great reputation of being an extremely smart man, fantastic boss and a great friend.

Bob married Helen Heilmann in 1964, they were married for 13 years and had 2 children, Janice and Jamie.

He then married Wendy Rae Sandman in 1979, who sadly passed in 1987. Bob married Cheryle Phillips in 1991 and were married (33 yrs) until he passed.

Bob loved many things, his family and his dogs at the forefront. Spending time on the golf course and behind the helm of his fishing boat were much loved pastimes. As well as, amassing an impressive collection of vintage cars.

Bob had a kind, generous and loving nature that people gravitated to.  Anyone in his presence, longed for nothing, he was a fantastic host. He divided his time between the lake, the ranch and yuma.

Needless to say, Bob was one of a kind and the loss of this special man is immeasurable.

Gone, but never forgotten, may he rest in peace …
