Jeff was a great outdoors individual right from the when he started walking and his passion for horses started at a young age learning from his Father, Uncle Ralph David Nelson and Albert Achla and as he got older he went into the Outfitting guide as a Horse wrangler for David Achla n cousin Kelvin Metecheah n Uncle Ted Metecheah and later went out as a guide taking Hunters out for wild game hunting and during this time was when his love of the rodeos started n he along with Uncle Bernie Metecheah n Brother Norman Jasper Wokeley Gerry Hunter Sky Hunter Joe Wokeley who all worked n dedicated their time n heart into starting the HRFN rodeo at the current rodeo grounds one that’s grown each year with more money added to the major events and this was where he was the happiest n proud of all that help make it’s the biggest rodeo in the Halfway Valley

He also loved hunting fishing camping n sheep hunting with his bros Gabriel Wolf David Achla and too many to mention

In his later years he taught his kids Sarah n Eden about horses and hunting which he was planning on passing down to his nephews Uriah, Gerry, Brody & Brydon

In the last few years of his life, he started having issues with his health n this didn’t deteriorate his love of the rodeo camping or spending time with his huge family and friends and the people he had a huge impact on by being a role model for the youth and anyone that wanted to learn about rodeos hunting or whatever else
