Obituary of Theresa Ollenberger

Theresa Ollenberger

1928 - 2024

 

Theresa was born in the Provost Hospital near Bodo Saskatchewan in 1928, she was the 16th of 18 children. Her family moved to Hythe Alberta when Theresa was 9 yrs old, subsequently they moved to Baldonnel when she was 10. 

 

Theresa Ollenberger (nee Sperling) met Pius Ollenberger in the 1940s and they married in 1950. The family moved to Fort St. John in 1959. in 1959 her only child Lance Ollenberger was born. Theresa is predeceased by her husband Pius, her parents, and all her numerous siblings. 

 

Theresa is survived by Lance (Cheri), granddaughters Lauren and Leigh. There was a simple graveside service for family as per Theresa’s explicit wishes to be buried with Pius. 

 

Theresa loved to garden her whole life, when she had grandchildren she provided them with a bounty of vegetables and showered them with love. 

 

Theresa passed away on April 18, 2024 at the age of 95.
