Keith was born in Nanaimo, BC and grew up in Tupper, BC. He passed away peacefully at Fort St. John Hospital with his wife, Beverley (Bahm), at his side. He was predeceased by his parents Reg and Bea (Cottier) Minall, and eldest sister, Debbie Pool; as well as parents-in-laws, Jack and Wilma Bahm. Keith graduated from South Peace Secondary School in 1981. He spent most of his adult life in Fort St. John. He worked in the automotive, oil and gas, and heavy duty industrial sectors, eventually becoming a certified parts person. He thanked those who helped him along the way, especially the team at Elite Technologies, who were compassionate and supportive for the eight years he worked there. Keith said it was the best place he ever worked.
Over their 27-year marriage, Keith and Bev had four dogs, Reeko and Chan, plus Angel and Buck. His dogs brought him great joy. For a time, he was renowned for his home Christmas light displays, and he loved woodworking and doing home renovations. He enjoyed spending time with his beautiful wife, friend and lover, Bev, who helped him immensely during long struggle with COPD.

He gives strength to those who grow tired,
and increases the strength of those who are weak.
Even young people grow tired, and become weary,
and young men will stumble and fall.
Yet, the strength of those who wait with hope,
in the Lord, will be renewed.
They will soar on wings like eagles.
They will run and won't become weary.
They will walk and won't grow tired.
