Obituary of Dean Carreiro

Dinarte “Dean” Carreiro, a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend passed away on February 7, 2024, in Fort St John, BC, Canada. He was born on February 4, 1967, in Azores, Portugal, and his departure has left a profound void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

 

Dean is survived by his children Kody (Lindsey) and Amber (David), his cherished grandchildren, Konnor, Taryn, and Corey. 

He is also survived by his devoted brother, Jorje (Loni), as well as nephews, nieces, friends, and other family members who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. Dean's most loyal companion, Marvin, his beloved dog, was a constant source of joy and comfort in his life.

 

Dean was predeceased by his mother, Maria, his father, Antonio, and his oldest brother, Tony. Their absence has undoubtedly left an indelible mark on Dean's heart, and his memory will now be reunited with theirs.

 

A sports enthusiast and a dedicated worker in the field of Vac trucks, which he took pride in. However, his greatest joy came from being a loving grandfather, watching his grandchildren grow and sharing in their milestones. Dean's presence will be sorely missed by them.

 

A celebration of Dean's life will be held at a later date, providing an opportunity for those who loved him to come together and honor his memory. His memory will live on through the countless lives he touched and the memories he created with those he held dear.

 

In the wake of Dean's passing, may his family and friends find solace in the cherished memories they shared with him and take comfort in the knowledge that his spirit will continue to live on in the lives of those he touched.
