Obituary of Robert Arthur Prince

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Arthur Prince, born on January 29, 1953 in Kamloops, British Columbia. He passed away peacefully on November 10, 2023 in Fort St. John, BC.

Robert, or Archie as he was fondly known, was a loving husband to Margaret Prince, wonderful father to Angie Maclean (Wade Maclean) and Jackie Frederiksen (Kevin Frederiksen), and a great friend to all who knew him.

Archie spent his life behind the wheel of a truck, and his passions were building, fixing and spending time with his whole family. He was a loving grandfather to Alyssa Heller (Kyle Heller), Jessica Prince, Kelsey Steiner (Tyrell Steiner), Levi Frederiksen, Kobi Frederiksen, and great grandfather to Kruz Heller and Hudson Steiner.

Archie was loved by everyone he met over the years, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 24, 2023 at Hamres Funeral Home at 2:00pm.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Wright and the Fort St John cancer care clinic nurses and staff. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation Cancer Treatment Fund.

Archie was predeceased by his father George Edmund Prince, mother Edith Sophie Prince, and brother Gary Prince.

We will miss you, Archie. May you rest in peace.
