Obituary of Terrance John Tessier
"It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Terry Tessier, born June 15, 1947 in Iroquois Falls, Ontario and grew his wings on October 25, 2023 in Fort St. John, BC with loved ones at his side, guiding him to the otherside.
He was a kind and generous man who enjoyed fishing, camping and almost anything outdoors. He was a good fisherman - providing meals for his family and spending quality time.
In 1964 Terry traveled to the Arctic Circle and enjoyed his trip to the north, as he did with all his trips to Yukon, Alaska, NWT and all over BC and Alberta.
Terry was a hardworking man who moved to Fort Nelson in his early adult days and worked at Canfor for many years. He was a great storyteller and enjoyed telling stories to the guests at the Fort Hotel when he joined their team in 2012. He was also a part of the northern firefighting initiatives and was proud of his work. He was most known for his flagging work with DGS Astro Paving making people smile and wave!
Terry was a beloved member of the community and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was a kind and generous man who always had a smile on his face and a story to tell.
A celebration of life will take place at Bizzybody in Fort St. John 10511 100th Avenue at 12 noon on Friday, October 27, 2023.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
