Obituary of Leonard Cornet
Leonard Cornet passed away peacefully on October 22, 2023 due to the complications of his disease Pulmonary Fibrosis, but let's be real, he was just plain worn out.
He is survived by Jean his beautiful loving wife of just shy of 60 years, his beautiful daughter Darla and his handsome son Darrell as well as his 2 beautiful grandchildren Juston and Andra. And really let's just face it folks this family just doesn't do ugly.
Leonard was born August 31, 1941 in MeadowLake Saskatchewan, He was 1 of 11 siblings all of whom he managed to outlive.
He left the family farm as a young man to seek his way in the world, eventually settling in Fort St. John where he worked in the oilfield and raised his family.
Leonard retired from Westcoast Energy but he never stopped working, he sought many small business ventures but he was most well known for his pen and jewelry making and "THE MIGHTY PIG ROASTER "
So please come help us celebrate his life
on May 18, 2024 at the Charlie Lake Community Hall. We will be having finger food etc and following that up with a bbq, music, laughter and tears later in the evening with pancake breakfast Sunday morning. So please come out and celebrate dad's life with stories, pictures and memories.
