Our condolences to the Baker Family. I always enjoyed my interactions with Ron. He was a great listener, practical and down to earth. He combined his engineering skills with practicality when it came to work and left work at the office when socializing. It was a great pleasure to know him and interact with him in the work environment. I really remember his fascination when I brought in a Sony Mavica Camera to show him. It used a 3 1/2 floppy for storage. He was quite excited about the possibilities for use of digital cameras in his work.

Our condolences to all the Baker Family, and Altec staff.Ron Baker, what a man! I Met Ron in the 1980s when I went to work for Czar Resources.. Over time Ron, Marty, and all the Altec crew got to be such a large part of what we did with all our construction of Facilities and Pipelines. We nicknamed Ron, the Scientist, as he could assist with whatever we might be trying to do.. Keeping us on the straight and narrow, with Permits, Plans, letters, ideas, and whatever else was required to make sure we did what was Legal, Sound, Ethical, Cost efficient, and EconomicalRon was such a special kind of a guy! His laugh was so great, and he had quite a sense of humor.. Ron will be missed by everyone in the peace country oil patchRest in Peace Ronnie. Hit em straight up there.Abe and Deb Garcia
