Obituary of Beverley Lillian Marion Demeria

It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce that in the evening of October 12th 2023 Beverley Demeria passed away peacefully at home with her husband Trevor Othen at her side. Late that evening the sky cleared and allowed the Northern lights to illuminate the sky and pave the journey home to heaven for Bev. 

 

Bev was born March 15th 1959 in Winnipeg Manitoba, to Scotty and Lillian Demeria. In the early 1970’s Bev moved to Whitehorse, Yukon where she met Eddy Pope. Together they moved to Fort St John, BC and had their family of four children; Ryan, Ron, Tyson and Cassandra. 

 

From Bevs passion for the great outdoors, to her deep spiritual connection with her native heritage, to always loving to be curled up with a good book each of these characteristics shaped Bev into a strong wise woman of faith whom was always willing to lend a helping hand. 

 

Bev truly thrived as a loving and caring Nana to her 9 grandchildren; Dallas, Thomas, Lilia, Tayva, Braxton, Emily, Belle, Brooke and Joseph whom will miss her deeply. 

 

A celebration of life will be held for Bev in Spring 2024, details to be announced.
