Obituary of Jeanette Kimmie

Obituary Jeanette Theresa Kimmie passed away Thursday, December 24, 2009, at the age of 60 after a brave battle with cancer. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, children, grandchildren, sisters, brother, nieces, nephews and many friends.Jeanette was born May 27, 1949 in Leader Sask., she was raised in Richmond Sask., with her mom and dad(deceased), Mary & Matt Miller, sisters Adeline, Maggie (Willie), Violet (Ralph), Irene, Loretta (Ernie) and brother James (Irene) where she stayed until moving to Fort St. John in 1967. Fort St. John is where she met and fell in love with the love of her life Bob. Jeanette and Bob were married February 16, 1969 moved to Cecil Lake and raised 4 children Charlotte (Dan), Terry, Tammy (Peter) and Ricky (Tracey).In 1996 Jeanette and her husband moved to Fort St. John and she immediately started her own day care. Children loved her and she so enjoyed having children around that it just made sense. Her daughters felt lucky that mom could watch their children, knowing they were in excellent hands. She had 6 grandchildren Jessy, Bailey, Kennith, Levi, Nate and Samara. In fact one grandson called her "safety grandma" and the name stuck.Jeanette loved spending time with her family, baking, garage saling and shopping. More often than not whenever you would see her she was never alone. Either her husband, a child or grandchild was with her.We would like to thank Dr. Amstutz , the Home Support Nurses and the Home Support workers for all their help. As well a heart felt thank-you to everyone for all the food, flowers , cards, kind words and support in our time of need. Services
