Obituary of Derek Franklyn

Obituary Derek Arthur Scott Franklyn was born November 2, 1919 in Letchworth, England. He passed away on April 5, 2010 after a lengthy illness. Derek is survived by his sister Grace, his children Garry (Marla), Ann (Jim), and Michale (Sigrid). He is also survived by his grandchildren Brad, Michelle (Darren), Nathan (Julie), Warren (Jennifer), Wende (Dave) and his great grandchildren Tyler, Kayla, Joshua, Tanner and Emmerson. Derek, formerly of the lower mainland and Vancouver Island, served in the British Merchant Marine in World War II and immigrated to Canada in 1948. He bacame a member of the Association of Professional Engineers in 1955. He spent the last two years of his life in Fort St. John with family and will sorely be missed by all who knew him. Services
