Obituary of Paul Hawkes

Obituary Paul Christopher Clevland Hawkes Jr, 64 of Fort St. John, passed away on December 21, 2010 in Fort St. John, British Columbia. Paul was born in York, England to Paul & Audrey Hawkes on January 14, 1946. He married Linda Carlson on January 10, 1975 in Fort St. John, British Columbia. Paul began working at CKNL radio when he first moved to Fort St. John in 1971. In 2004 he left CKNL for Moose FM, where he continued to work until his retirement in 2009. Paul had been battling pancreatic cancer since he was diagnosed in March 2010. Paul is survived by his loving wife Linda, his beloved children Kim, Jason (Erica) & Katherine, & cherished grandchildren Andrea, Ella & Ben as well as his mother Audrey (Keith) Binsky of Calgary, AB and sisters Jean Duff of Calgary, AB, Gillian Wicks of Red Deer, AB, and Julie Clifford of Calgary, AB. Donations in memory of Paul can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
