Obituary of Clayton "Shorthorn" Flavell

Obituary Clayton Cyril Flavell of Fort St. John passed away on January 15, 2011 at 79 years of age. Clayton was born April 3, 1931 in Hythe, Alberta to parents Bill and Florence Flavell. Clayton worked as a Butcher in Fort St. John for 23 years working for various companies throughout the years. Clayton is predeceased by his Mother Florence (Cockel) Flavell, his father Bill Flavell, his brothers Fred Flavelle and Ed Flavell, and his sisters Muriel Alexander, Winnie Hall and Eva Ross. Clayton is survived by his sister Gladys Lock as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial service will be held Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 2:00pm from the Peace Lutheran Church. Interment will be held from the Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date. Expressions of sympathy can be made in memory of Clayton to the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation Cancer Treatment Fund (9636 100 Ave, Fort St. John, BC V1J 1Y3) or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of BC (1480 7 Ave, Prince George, BC V2L 3P2).
