Obituary of Elizabeth Holoboff

Obituary Elizabeth (Betty) Anne Holoboff (nee Ardill) of Hudson's Hope, British Columbia passed away February 27, 2011 at the Fort St. John General Hospital at 89 years of age. Betty was born in Edmonton, Alberta to loving parents, John and Elizabeth Ardill. On October 20, 1962 she married George Holoboff at the St. Peter's Anglican Church in Hudson's Hope, British Columbia. Side by side she worked with her husband on the Ranch. Betty was a Charter Member of the Eastern Star, Fort St. John and a founding member of the Hudson's Hope Fall Fair. She was also a member of the HH Saddle Club and the Hudson's Hope Women's Community Club. Betty is predeceased by her beloved husband George Holoboff, her parents John and Elizabeth Ardill and her brother John Ardill. Betty is survived by her brother Dick (Irene) Ardill and Tom Ardill, as well as her nieces Lorna (Steve) Winnicky and their family Travis & Trent Winnicky, and Kathy (Bernie) Schroeder and their family Walker, Grassie and Sorrel Schroeder, nephew Donald Ardill and sister-in-law Beth Ardill. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 2:00pm from the St. Peter's Anglican Church in Hudson's Hope, British Columbia. Interment will follow at the Hudson's Hope City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Red Cross.
