Obituary of Jean Alexander

Obituary Jean Sophia Alexander (Austin) of Fort St. John passed away April 25, 2011 in the Fort St. John Hospital at 81 years of age. Jean was born on May 26, 1929 in the small town of Chapman, Ontario to parents Robert and Mary Austin. Jean married the love of her life, Tomas Edward Alexander, on September 17, 1955 in Parry Sound, Ontario. Jean is survived by her beloved husband Tom of 55 years, her loving children Jim (Donna) Alexander, Gail (Dave) Gerber, Sandra (Brad) Kent, and Shiela (Ken) Marshall, as well as her 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 29th, 2011 at 2:00pm from the Christian Life Church with interment to follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery. An open visitation will be held on the evening of April 28th at 7:30pm from Hamre's Funeral Chapel. If so desired expressions of sympathy can be made in memory of Jean to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
