Obituary of Granny Josephine Wabisca

Obituary Josephine Alma Giles Wabisca, Granny, of Fort St. John passed away on May 12, 2011 at the age of 91 years. Granny was born in Calgary, Alberta to Alexander and Josephine Carmichael on October 19, 1919. She held numerous jobs in her life including matron for the R.C.M.P. Granny is predeceased by her parents Alexander and Josephine Carmichael, spouse Raymond and brother Johnny Carmichael. She is survived by children Josephine (George) Wabisca and Alex Dumas. Grandchildren JoAnn Wabisca (Edward Monaghan), Antoinette (Michael) Thompson, Bernadette Zeluf, Nicole (Bobby) Bodford, George (Necla) Wabisca, Dawn Dumas and Dexter Dumas. As well as twelve Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 21 at 1:00pm from the Church of the Resurrection. Prayers will also be held on Friday evening starting at 7:00pm from Hamre's Funeral Chapel In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made to the Local Friendship Center'sSociety.
