I remember when I was about 5 years old, Aunty Lillian and Uncle Maynard took me and Travis on a camping trip from chilliwack to fort st john in the little camper van. It was alot of fun, and I remember it clearly like it was yesturday. As I got older, I knew I could talk to her about anything and I miss her so much. I was hoping one day seeing her again so she could meet my twin daughters, but I know now she sees them. Miss you and Love you soo much Aunty, wish I had the chance to say goodbye.Love Amanda

I met Lillian in 1976 when 3 of us were stranded in the Frontier Hotel. Our pay checks had been sent to the wrong rig so none of us had any money and it was Christmas day. There were no resturants open and we pooled our nickles and bought a couple bags of chips for Christmas dinner. The phone rang about 2:00 P.M. and it was Lillian. She said she had a turkey that was wayyyy to big for her and the boys and we would be doing her a BIG favor if we would only come and help them eat it. She sent a cab for us and a lasting friendship was formed that has lasted till this day. Lillain babysat Amberly from the time she was 2 till we moved away in 1992. We had kept in contact by phone since then. We will sadly miss her laugh and jokes and down home logic. Our prayers are with the family at this difficult time.Eileen Rodrigue [Brooks]

One night years ago Lillian and I were watching the campfire. The night was cool and the stars were beautiful. We decided that each star was the soul of someone who had passed away. I know there is a special new brilliant star up in the sky now. I love you and miss you. I wish peace and strength to your loved ones, to Maynard, your three great sons Travis Troy and Gene. All of your sisters and brothers and their families. God bless Ethel, Brody, and Ashley. I miss you so bad it hurts-your friend always June.

I will always remember your Mom with a smile, she had a heart of gold was always kind to me. She loved to be busy, and could make doing windows or dishes or some other lame task fun. She gave the best hugs-and would call b/s whenever i told her i was good and wasn't-then she would get to the bottom of it-and make me feel better. She was EXCELLENT at baking, her cinnamon buns will never be equalled. She would always make everyone's favorite-Dad loved her tea and reuben sandwiches. Our families had great times camping and being outside. Lillian was so very considerate-when my Daughter was born she made me feel so proud with her geniune compliments, and her helpful advice. I don't remember when i started to call her "Auntie" but i always meant it, she will be dearly missed. Love Nikki&Kurt&Olivia Willson

I am remembering spending our pregnant months visiting in Aunt Lillian and Uncle Maynard's kitchen, I was pregnant with Amanda and Lillian pregnant with Travis. Sitting having coffee, lots of laughter-never a shortage of that.. Then there was always the smell of fresh bread baking (she made it every week- I am sure). Then after the babies were born (2 weeks apart)I would take Amanda over and we would visit . Travis so big and Amanda so small, but they seemed to have a strong bond. Wish I had photos of that, but as long as my mind is good, I will always have the memories of her laughter, her smile, her big heart and the caring she showed to me. I truely loved that woman and always will... Miss you Aunt Lillian .
