Dear Eunice and Family: Fred and I are so sorry to hear of Leo's passing. Thinking of him brought back fond memories for Fred of their years working together and other great memories for both of us of our years as neighbors and friends. We both share your loss and hope you will find some comfort in the fact that your Leo was so well loved by so many of us.A candle was lit

My favourite memoirs of Leo: Since my first visit October 16th 2007 and each thereafter, he'd welcome me at the top of the stairs, dressed like dandy, suspenders and all. " Going for a walk" he'd say-look for his shoes. Our walks to Walmart for coffee, Timmy's for hot chocolate, around the block talking to old neighbours and friends. Worked on the "truck", me holding his cigar under the hood, trying to keep it dry or going. Always looking for the keys.Sweet conversations about the love of his life. How they met, the courtship, the good times, the sad times, the oldtimes. How about those Maple Leaf's??? Oh the chocolate..lots of chocolate. And now Leo, my old friend, you have gone on your last walk. I hope it 's a glorious one. I will miss you.....Carole

My deepest sympathies to Auntie Eunice and family(ies). With time, I pray that your memories of Uncle Leo will bring a smile, first. I have many - including that big diesel truck he used to drive. All of those times we all spent together visiting with family. Knowing that my daughter shared his birthday-day. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.Love, Nicole & the kids.A candle was lit
