Obituary of Jim Unruh

Obituary James Donald Unruh of Taylor, BC passed away on March 18, 2012 in Fort St. John, BC at the age of 79. Jim was borned January 28, 1933 in Fort St. John, BC to parents Bill and Dorothy Unruh. As a teen, Jim attended Fort St. John High School and graduated in 1951. Several years later he married his wife, Shirley on August 15, 1959 in Fort St. John, BC. Jim worked in the oil and gas industry for an impressive 32 years and finished his career with McMahon company.Jim is survived by his loving wife, Shirley, his daughters, Linda (Bob) McKinnon, Patty(Norman) Auger and Valerie Unruh (Kurt Cyr). his step-son Tim (Aven) Paetkau and sons, his grand-daughters Gayle (John) Boisvert and Tanya Auger(Mason Hunter) and great grand-daughters Caylee and Terra. Jim is predeceased by his parents Bill and Dorothy Unruh and his brother George. Special thanks to Dr. Romy, Dr. Hamill and all of the nursing staff at the Fort St. John General Hospital and all of the staff at the Fort St. John Extended Care facility.
