Obituary of Patricia Westergaard
Obituary Patricia was the daughter of Joseph (Joe) and Maude Maxwell. She was an only child, and was cherished by her parents. In 1956 she received her Teaching Diploma and held various teaching positions around the province, including Surrey ,Hope, Halfway River and Buick Creek, BC.
Pat loved everyone and loved to laugh. She loved to garage sale, and go to auctions - she could never pass up on a good deal, and she loved to share her "good fortune" with her friends. She was a trusting lady and would help anyone in need. Pat lived her life with joy and enjoyed many hobbies, such as sewing and cooking. She was a longtime member of the Catholic Women's League, and she was a member of many boards and organizations over the years, in and around Fort St John.
In her younger years she was always up for a challenge; one of her exploits included racing a 1932 Coupe through the Fraser Canyon.
We will miss and cherish her always. God speed, Pat.
Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Pakinsons Society Canada or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
