Obituary of Grant Steeves

Obituary Grant Stuart Steeves of Fort St, John passed away on April 14, 2012 in Fort St. John, BC at the age of 76. Grant was born to parents Warren and Ethel on October 14, 1935. As a teen, Grant attended North Peace High School in Fort St. John and later graduated in 1955. On July 28,1967 Grant married Noreen Strandlund in the town of Fort St. John. Throughout his career, Grant woked as a farmer, a store manger at Cecil Lake Co-Op, a boiler plant operator, and he was a driver for Driving Force.Grant was involved with the Cecil Lake recreation comittee and the curling league. Grant is pre-deceased by, his father Warren Steeves, mother Ethel Steeves and sisters Nelda Lindberg, Mildred Harjula and Edna Stern. Grant is survived by his wife Noreen Steeves, sister Norma Andrews, sons Terry Beaton (Valerie), Richard Beaton (Dawn) and David Steeves (Roxanne), his daughter Leanne Steeves(Hank Snow), his eight grandchildren, one great granchild and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
