Friend, neighbour, mentor, shoulder to cry on, one to laugh with and gain words of wisdom from---Aunt Betty to our family. "Come in. We'll have a cup of tea." That meant fresh bread and jam or huge dishes of ice cream and cake with home grown berries, as well. Phone rings "Come on over. I'll make you breakfast." Leg up on corner of table relating a funny story about herself or "Well, my bible says------" in answer to a question asked. Unconditional love and acceptance from her helped insecurity and low self esteem go away in so many ladies. I have known no other woman as widely loved and cherished as Aunt Betty Peterson:)

Hearthfelt condolences to Dale, Don & Edith and family.Aunt Betty was a very special lady and I will remember her most for her sense of humour and acts of kindness. As a child when visiting, I enjoyed her stories and her homemade bread and jam, they were the best. She will be missed by many in the community at large. Love and friendship, Pat Dool

Betty truly was a wonderful lady. And yes, she made you feel good about yourself, and about life in general. She was always a pleasure to be around. One of her most endearing qualities, in my opinion, was her wonderful sense of humor - no one could tell an amusing story with the "pizazz" that Betty could. Anyone who knew her has been truly blessed to experience her presence.

I'll always treasure the times I had tea at her house. Betty was the one bright spot in my life when I lived in Rose Praire

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Betty. Betty was a wonderful lady who always made you feel good about yourself. We once went on a "date" together to a Valentine's dinner, I brought her roses and she gave me a bible. Betty truly was an angel here on earth! Rest in Peace Betty, I am thankful to have known you. I will miss you!Tara Babcock
