My sympathy goes out to you all. I am your Dad's first cousin, Kristine. Your Dad and Grandmother came to see my Mother, Helen when she was critical many years ago. I appreciated them coming and I was happy to see them as we had not seen each other for a many, many years. Our conversations were as if we had seen each other recently. Your Grandmother was able to see her sister, Charlotte on the same visit. I was very fortunate to have the support of both my Aunts at such an awful time in my life. Fortunately my mother got better and lived several more years. My husband, Michael and I really enjoyed your Dad as he was very interesting and told us of his experiences with your Mom and his work adventures. He sure did have an interesting life and it sounded as if he and your Mother worked very hard. I know when your Dad was here your Mother was dealing with her cancer. I was sad to hear she passed away. Now they are together and at peace.Try to remember the happy times as these will help you get through any sad days. Sincerely,Your Cousin Kristine
