I met Connie through her best friend, my sister Linda. It was such a treat to meet the extraordinary woman whom I'd been hearing so much about. She was all that I been told and more. I was happy that Linda had such a kindred spirit with whom she was able to share many similarities in life experiences as well, life adventures. I know that Connie was her " go to girl" for good times and bad. I was looking forward to seeing Connie again soon when her and LInda and Connie's sister in law would be passing through Vernon and staying at my house on their way to another great vacation. Connie was one of the most artistic persons ever ! There wasn't nothing she couldn't make or do ! She was a Lady through and through! I've known her for many years and she always had a smile or a cheering word for everyone! She was a great supporter through the years she served at the Legion -and she served them well! I send my deepest sympathy's to Connie's Family I will always remember the "Hug we shared 2 weeks ago !! She still had that wonderful; smile and cheerful hello ! Rest in Peace Connie! I lost my dearest friend. We shared many laughs and a few tears over these last 8 years. Connie was a thoughtful caring person who wouldn't hurt a fly. She loved her family and friends. We still had plans for future travelling and it is sad her death was so sudden. I will cherish her memory and carry it with me always. Connie gave me my greatest gift, she showed me how to enjoy life.
