I've known Woodrow for as long as I can remember and I feel sad that I will never get a chance to visit with him again. ... but life, being what it is, has a way of ushering us out when it is our time. It was my pleasure to have known him; he was a very unique man. I was always a little bit in awe of him. Always so proud of the accomplishments of his kids and grandkids, it seemed to give him great joy to talk about you all. The Chapple home was a "second home" for me and many others all those years ago, but it went without saying that there was a certain modicum of respect that was expected to be adhered to... .. And it was. Woodrow always made me feel that he was glad to see me - it's pretty easy to care about someone who cares about you. He lived a good long life and I'm sure when his time came, he was ready. To all of his family, my most sincere condolences.A candle was lit
