Karen was my Friend and confidant while I was in Ft Nelson. She was everything Helen said and more. A truly special and unique woman who will be sadly missed and remembered fondly.
Karen was my sister and I love her deeply. she was kind and never judged people. she lived a simple but hectic life. she worked harder than any 2 people I know and she was only 5 feet tall. I have huge respect for her and always will.
Thinking of long ago while we were teenagers...hanging out at your place in Prince George..Karen and Cyndie took me into their little hideaway and we talked and laughed and smoked our faces off...I loved going to your place...you girls were real and loving and accepting of me...just because I was family...good memories of Karen as a young woman...I know what a tight family group you all are...Bless you all..I know you will take great care with each other...xo.
Karen was "Aunty Karen" to me for probably the first 5 years of my life. If I wasn't at home, I was up the hill hanging out at Melanie's house. It was always so much fun being at their house! From the raccoon "pet" to playing in the all the buildings out in the yard, it was my home away from home. I have such fond memories of her and may she rest in peace.
