Dear Virginia and Family,I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Jon, your husband and your father. He was a great man! He was always so kind to me as he got to know me at the Salvation Army in 2005 when I needed help from the community after separating from my husband. He was always very encouraging and supportive. And, yes, I always remember him telling me to "smile". He encouraged me to become a kitchen helper at the Salvation Army in 2006. He was a lot of fun to be around and he had a great smile and laugh. He was so kind to the less fortunate people that he served at the Salvation Army. I will miss him! Also, I was so thankful for the support I received from you, Virginia, and Jon while undergoing chemotherapy treatment in 2009.Yours truly,Susanne Dymond
