Obituary of William Nelson
Obituary Natalie Jean Marie Nelson and Kevin Lee Nelson of Fort St John, BC, are saddened to
announce the passing of their eldest son, William Robert Lee Nelson, who left suddenly and too
soon on December 13, 2014. Born in Halifax, NS on July 18, 1997, William leaves behind his
beloved sister Christine Una Marie Nelson and little brother Cameron Michael James Nelson.
More often than not, William could be found with his nose in a book, listening to his favorite
music or mastering the x-box. He was a connoisseur of good food, history and natural science.
Always ready with an interesting story, amazing fact or quick witted joke, he will be greatly
missed by those who love him.
William is survived by his fraternal grandparents, Charlotte and Darrell Nelson, as well as his
uncles Peter, Jeff and Philip Nelson, along with their spouses and many cousins.
He also leaves behind his maternal grandparents, Kathryn and Steven Boyd as well as his aunt
Melanie Boyd, his uncle Jonathan Boyd and wife and cousin Kade.
The funeral arrangements are being handled by Hamre's Funeral Home and there will be a
private viewing for the family on Thursday, December 18, 2014, after which William will be
cremated until his parents have an opportunity to take him home to NS. The funeral will be held
at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 11412 100 Street on Friday, December
19, 1014 at 2pm. All those who knew and loved William are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers
donations can be made to William's Memorial at which will
help relieve the financial burden on the family at this time.
