My sincere condolences to the Arnaly family. Jean was a wonderful friend to my parents and it saddens me to have to say good bye to a man who reminds me of my own father. I remember having supper at your home with my family when I was a young girl and being invited over to pick apples for jelly with my own kids years later. Jean was a kind man and I loved passing the house and see the lovely flowers out front, the perfectly tended lawn, and the driveway that never seemed to have snow on it. His bench at church will always have a spot for his memory. When my dad was still with us, if I tried to sit in Jean's spot on the bench my dad would remind me to move on down the bench because the seat at the end was saved for Jean. They sat together for so many years at church that quite a few people thought they were brothers. I guess they were in a way. My mom will also miss him. It's hard to say goodbye to a friend.
