Obituary of Mr. William Tompkins

Obituary Bill and his twin sister Margaret were born in Grande Prairie, Alberta on October 30th, 1926. They were the youngest children of Philip and Emily Tompkins. Bill was a "redhead with a temper to match and attached to the land like his dad", as quoted by his mother. Some of the highlights of Bill's life and career were working, trucking on the Alaska Highway during the war hauling coal, his pipeline business Great Northern Enterprises, the Ranch and farming, gold mining, being a pilot, travelling the world with Kari and drinks with friends! Bill was predeceased by his first wife Audrey (Powell); brothers Eric, Brian, Jim, Arthur "Short", and Donald "Buck" and sister Alice. Bill is survived by his twin sister Margaret, his second wife Kari Williams and his children Barry Tompkins and Kathi & Bruce Comer, his grandchildren Jenny, Dustin, Jordana, Tanar, Shayann and Amanda, great grandchildren Darryl, Marcus, Evan, Owen and Luke, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
