Obituary of Linda Greenwood

Obituary Linda Ann Greenwood was born on Friday, June 15, 1956 in Burnaby, British Columbia to parents Lillian and Harry Barker. As a teen, Linda attended Princess Margaret Senior Secondary School in Surrey, British Columbia. At the age of 19 she married her childhood sweetheart Jay Greenwood on May 8, 1976 in Surrey, British Columbia. Later as a married couple Linda and Jay had a beautiful little girl who they named Jayme and later added to their family with a son who they named Jordan. As the years grew on Linda became self-employed and started her own pilot car business. She named her business J Bird Pilot Car Services which she operated successfully for an impressive 19 years. She was very proud of her accomplishments of being her own boss. Linda was taken away from this world much too early at the age of 58 on June 13, 2015 at Charlie Lake, British Columbia Linda was predeceased by her parents Harry and Lillian Baker. She leaves to mourn her beautiful family which include her loving husband Jay Greenwood; her daughter Jayme, husband Darren and daughter Bailey; her son Jordan, wife Anna and two children Ayla and Ryatt; her sisters Jenny and husband Gord, Janet and Sam. As well as many friends and extended family members. Special thanks go out to the wonderful staff and caring nurses Sharene and Jennifer at Northern Health. A memorial service was held to remember Linda at the Pomeroy Hotel on June 20, 2015 at 2:00 pm in Fort St. John, British Columbia. Expressions of sympathy may be made in loving memory of Linda to the Fort St. John Women's Resource Society.
